Dell wisps into Android with the "Smoke"
Name one thing that Android devices have continually missed out on? If you guessed “portrait QWERTY candybar” then you’d be right. Well, no longer does Google’s flagship mobile OS miss out on the fun; brought to you by Dell we’re graced with the “Smoke” (Note: this is currently nothing more than an internal codename). Running Google’s latest iteration of Android (Froyo) this stunningly designed handset rocks out to a 2.8-inch QVGA display (which surprisingly looks more like a WVGA display, but you know, no biggie), Qualcomm’s next generation MSM 72300 processor clocked at 800MHz, 5-Megapixel autofocus camera, 14.4Mbps HSPA, microSD expansion (up to 32GBs), WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and dual-mic noise cancelling technology. Impressive no? Oh yeah, we forgot to mention that its all housed in a 12mm thick package.
