E3 2011 -- Rayman Origins makes me feel sad for colorblind folks
Rayman may not be like Mario or Sonic in the overall scheme of things, but what he lacks in star power he makes up for in mediocrity. He was sorta like Crash Bandicoot, just less popular. He was like Gex but not as talkative. You could say he was more of a Bubsy type, but less hated. Rayman never really demanded the spotlight. But now in 2011, he’s finally getting his fair share of limelight with Rayman Origins; a beautiful HD game that looks as beautiful as an animated cartoon.
Rayman Origins / Fall 2011 on PS3, 360, Wii, 3DS
Initially first announced last year as a downloadable title, the game has since then morphed into a full retail game that will ship later this fall on a multitude of platforms. And after seeing the treatment Rayman’s getting in this fresh installment of the medicore late 90’s gaming icon, I’m starting to feel like 2D side-scrollers still have a lot of life left in them.
