How to set a GIF image as your Twitter avatar

Discovered by Greg Leuch from fffff.at, there’s never been an easier way to upload GIF images as your Twitter avatar than now. Make sure to have an idea in mind for what you’ll use, then follow the easy, step by step guide on how to animate your Twitter profile.

    Step 1 - Create

If you already have a GIF handy then you can just skip ahead to step 2, but if you’re looking to make one then why not start out by visiting 3fram.es and creating one with the help of your own mug and webcam.

    Step 2 - Resize

Use the embedded resizing tool above, or simply go into Adobe ImageReady or your GIF creator of choice, and resize your animation to 48x48 pixels.

Step 3 - Save and Upload

Save your newly resized GIF image and upload it onto your Twitter account, and that’s it! You’ve successfully become the coolest kid on the block within your Twitter circle.
