Motorola Announces Dual Core Verizon Droid Bionic with LTE
We’ve known for some time now that 4G and dual core would both be big deals for smartphones in the year 2011, and here’s the perfect example of that. Today, at their CES press conference, Motorola Mobility announced the dual core Droid Bionic. What makes this Droid so epic?
You probably already know that the Droid Bionic is a 2 GHz dual core (1 GHz per core) Android smartphone running on Verizon’s new 4G LTE network. So what else does it have? For starters, the 8 megapixel rear camera and VGA front facing camera definitely do pack a punch for video chatting over 3G/WiFi. Speaking of which, video calls will show up great on the 4.3” qHD display, which allows for 1080p outut through HDMI.
