Nintendo's 3DS gets a 'Flame Red' makeover on September 9th

During the days of the N64 Nintendo released like 10 bajillion colors and versions of the console and its controller, and that made the system that much more special to each individual owner. Butwhen the Wii came out Nintendo promised a similar scheme but never even came close to releasing even a third color. Well, the 3DS may be off to a good start introducing a new color starting September 9th.
Officially dubbed “Flame Red”, the 3DS will be making its firey debut on September 9th in the USA which just also happens to be the same day Starfox 64 3D is due to come out.
Going for the new $169 price tag next month, a whole new slew of games will be readily available for anyone ready to make the plunge into the next generation, AND a new dimension.
