Porn would Like to Get in on the PS3 action

Have a PS3? Well, if Vivid Entertainment, the world’s biggest company in the porn industry, gets their way then you may be seeing some adult films on the PSN for your viewing pleasure. Of course, Sony is a bit reluctant, but that didn’t stop them from allowing DDM.tv in Japan from launching - an on demand adult movie service brought to you in HD on the PS3 - last month

“They had made it clear in the past they were not interested,” (Steve) Hirsch (Founder of Vivid Entertainment) said. “Now that they have agreed to in some way allow adult films on the Japanese platform we are going to move forward and make a formal request.”

So what’s stopping Sony from bringing a similar service state wise? Well, I would assume they’d like to keep the freaky deeky stuff away from the children who are begging their parents to buy them a newly priced $299 slim PS3. And I don’t think telling their parentals that porn is available on the platform would be a selling point.

“Our point is pretty simple,” Hirsch told Kotaku. “As long as age verification is in place that (Sony) feels comfortable with we see no reason why adults shouldn’t be allowed to access adult movies on the Playstation 3.”

But then again, the PS3 hasn’t really been marketed to the younger crowd in the west - it’s always been geared toward adults. However, Vivid is also eyeing the 360 as well, but I find it hard to see MS saying yes to a deal like that when the console is really trying to appeal to the casual and younger markets at the moments.

JVC's New Home Theater Projector... For Just $175,000

JVC has announced they will producing a new projector! The 4K DLA-RS4000 promises to give you cinema quality in your home for $175,000 that's right. The projector boasts 1080P quality.

Expensive huh? Also did I mention you would need a forklift to get it into your home it weighs 110lb. I think this projector is a good idea but it's so expensive and so large it won't have many sales.

Google Search box Resized

I thought something felt off last night when from one search to the next I coulda sworn the size of my font had changed. I used Ctrl+Scroll up and down to adjust the size but I couldn't get it to where I had just seen it a moment ago.

Today, I'm more enlightened, and I'll let you avoid those moments of question as I did last night. Google resized their search box - making it bigger, and also upping the size on the font in your search.

Robot Exo-Skeleton Brings you Closer to the Future

Maybe it's just me, since I just finished up Shadow Complex on the 360, but I couldn't stop thinking of the character Jason Flemming under that souped up suit. But seriously, this is pretty fascinating technology. I've been reading about this for quite some time, and to see it now on the streets of Japan is nothing short of awesome.

Can't wait until the black market gets a hold of these and then we're gonna have to power our own Iron Man to stop them.
