Apple launches new iMac - 2.8 GHz Core i7, 27" screen | more specs

Apple has always been excellent at making stuff that we thought was impossible to do, and then taking it, and blowing our minds even more. The new iMac is a great example of Apple's design expertise and esthetic taste. They took something that was already the best looking desktop PC and turned it into a better looking, more powerful monster.

Gone is the 20" model and introduced in its place is a slightly bigger 21.5 inch model which has more processing capabilities, and includes the same great look as the next model, a giant 27" behemoth! This thing is bigger than the TV you have in your bedroom. We cannot wait to see one of these close up.

Apple has also thrown in more powerful parts. See more after the break.

Microsoft wants to bump up the cost of Xbox Live Gold

Xbox's market analyst Michael Pachter wants to bump up the cost of Xbox Live Gold from $50 to $100 as early as 2011. While it's about a year and a half off, still, why? I can't even make sense of his quote:

"You can't hook into Xbox Live Gold if he's playing on a PC. That's the other problem - you really want to hook every gamer who has a 360, you want them to buy all their games on 360, play everything multiplayer, pay you 50 bucks a year so that, in a couple of years, it's a 100 bucks a year."

So basically what he's saying is... He wants to bump up the price of the 360 either when there's enough of a customer base, or to attract more people. Neither makes sense (one less than the other) because last I checked, if you wanted a larger customer base and keep it, you lowered your prices. What's also upsetting is that most of Xbox Live's features are free on other platforms. Namely PCs, in which Steam offers the best substitute for Xbox Live.

Nintendo is shipping a black limited edition Wii to Europe

Nintendo has always been known for offering thier products in a multitude of colors and the Wii was just left behind. Not to worry they now have a black Wii and its only for Europe? Thats not fair, Americans have been buying your underpowered, kid-centric console faster than you can ship 'em here for years now, and yet you ignore our innermost desires to see a Wii in some color other than white!

Anyways, Europe will see the same bundle on November 20th, and as if that wasn't enough, a black Classic Controller Pro and a slew of black Wii accessories will also accompany the package for those looking to stock up.

Apple store is down for updates, new iMac and more on the way?

Can't tell you what, obviously. But there's something brewing. Gruber doesn't know about it, but the people we care about are being briefed in advance. Stay close to your Mac or iPhone, and have your credit card ready.

These are the words of "Fake Steve jobs" mentioned in yesterday's article about this rumor that Apple is coming out with new iMacs today. According to Apple's retail online store, they "will be back soon" and we are excited!

The speculations include new iMacs and plastic MacBooks, revved Mac Minis (including one that runs OS X Server), a new multitouch "Magic Mouse" and some sort of multitouch desktop trackpad accessory.

Stand by and come back to this page for more updates.

That is the exact words of "Fake Steve Jobs" over at his secret diary. The rumor including Apple releasing new iMacs and plastic MacBooks, revved Mac Minis (including one that runs OS X Server), a new multitouch "Magic Mouse" and some sort of multitouch desktop trackpad accessory.

We will wait it out and see what happens, and tidy up the mess. Also Apple is expected to release a foot-powered egg slicer and a multitouch pen.

Dell Adamo Desire gets upgrade - 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo, 256GB SSD

The Dell Adamo was one of those laptops that nobody really thought about. Yeah its slim and its shiny, but it's as fast as being married. It was a under powered version of a Macbook Air (which was also an unsuccessful endevour) and it was reeeeely pricey.

Well, things are starting to shape up for the Adamo, it is now more powerful than any Macbook Air, and shines with a new HDD. All the upgrades are as follows -- a 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo SL9600 processor, 256GB SSD, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).

Even though they crammed all this tech inside something that could cut a wedding cake, the price still remains the same, Shake n' Bake! But that is not all -- Dell is planning to announce a new Adamo, the "Adamo XPS" and we have some sweet pics!
