Google Street view: Some guy getting ready to do the big nasty in Washington.

When you start to feel a little bloated and you just gotta go, well, it just has to happen. But sometimes, you get caught with your pants around your ankles on a DC street, trying to do the big nasty after breakfast. In all seriousness, it's sad that some people have to live like this, some with no family, no bathroom and now, no privacy. Damn you internet, Damn you! Actual map after the break...

Official Iron Man 2 trailer - what awesome is made of

The first Iron Man was nothing short of awesome. We loved it for its snarky humor, intense action, and epic sound track, and what sets Iron Man 2 apart is that it looks to have all of the aforementioned multiplied by 10, plus new fancy Iron Man ladies, a new villain in Whiplash, and, oh, did I  not mention the addition of War Machine? The trailer proves that all of this should make for an awesome summer movie. You can sit back all the way in your seat now.

Use a 42" monitor to answer telemarketing calls

When you are at work, browsing the web, why not use something the size of a small car to answer telemarketing calls? According to a user on Reddit:

In 2005 I was working for a "telemarketing" firm somewhere on the east coast. morale was so bad at the company, management went to great lengths to keep people that actually worked hard. one of the ways they did this was a short lived but highly entertaining award for "Employee of the Month". Said employee was treated to answering calls from a "special" desk with a 42" monitor.

Although this seemed to be "a cool reward", the next month's winner could not go more than a mere two days with the XL monitor; stating that his "retinas were getting burned out by the heat from the screen".

Black Dynamite Sound Board, Can You Dig it?

Black Dynamite may be the funniest thing I’ve heard or seen in a long time. There’s not much words can do to describe how fly this movie is, so I’ll just leave all the nunchuckin’, pimp smackin’ to the trailer:

MegaMan 10's Debut English Trailer... Sorta Want

It may not mean as much as this past year's Mega Man 9 in terms of nostalgia, but it does hold a certain charm with the addition of a playable ProtoMan ( and, no DLC doesn't count). I'll be sure to pick it up in March when it's estimated to be out for the Wii, with the 360 and PS3 versions soon to follow.

But next time Keiji, you mark my words, you better make Mega Man X9 in the style of the first SNES Mega Man X or your head is mine!

Comcast Brings On-Demand Cable Wherever you Go

Do you have Comcast TV and Internet? You're going to need both if you're going to take advantage of their new service, TV Fancast XFinity; a possible ground breaking step in streaming Internet-TV. So what is it you ask?  Ever been on the road on business or vacation and realized you missed something on TV? Well, now all you got to do is take out your laptop, connect to a WiFi hotspot and get set to enjoy 27 streaming, on demand channels - all ready for you to pick and choose which series and episodes you want to watch. Oh, and did I forget to mention that if you subscribe to HBO you also get access to big titled movies on the go too.

It's a nice concept, but can it take on Hulu, who provides free quality content on the go? I can see where this is going, though. These are just the initial steps cable companies will begin to take as they observe their viewers move from tv's to their computer screens. And with talks of Hulu soon becoming a paid service, ideas like this are starting to sound more realistic than they did back in the past. As a user I'm seeing the wheels beginning to move back in favor of subscriptions, instead of the current free, ad-revenue model.

With the beginning of a new decade soon upon us, we're seeing the testing stages of what will eventually become the mainstays that will provide us entertainment in the future. It's interesting to see so many players shifting from one idea to the next, realizing that yesterday's great concept has yet to become profitable, and remember, that's what this is all about: money.

Frequent Internet Users are the most "Educated"

In a recent study done by Eurostat it seemed that the more formal education Europeans had, the more likely it was that they would be frequent internet users. This almost seems as a no-brainer as various circumstances related to being taught in institutions give you a higher chance to check out the newest tech, compared to those whom, let's say, are just average joes doing the 9 - 5 thing.

What I thought was interesting was that as the age groups began to widen, the older generations' "non-educated" were less likely to be online regularly, compared to the 16 - 24 age group - where education played hardly no part in how frequent each set went online.

As part of the younger crowd I can say for a fact that checking email, reading blogs, and communicating with friends is something that has to be done on a daily basis, or otherwise you'll get lost in all that you've missed. Education did once play a part in all this but as the results show, this younger generation has become one with the technology that they've grown up with; seeing it not as a privilege or luxury, but a necessity to remain on the digital lifestyle that will only go faster and faster.
