'Wolverine' Uploader Faces 3 Years and a Heavy Fine. Was it Worth it?

X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a movie that came and went with a 'meh', but why? Possibly because the movie was leaked online for everyone to download at their leisure a whole month before it was due out for release. Were you one of the couple million who snatched up the non-finished copy? Well, if you did then you're in no trouble really, but the guy (one of the guys I should say) who you got it from - let's just say he may be facing some serious jail time for originally uploading the movie back in April of this year.

HP Face-tracking webcams don't like black people

Just when we thought technology was at its peak, and we were oh-so smart, we forget to make sure our facial tracking webcam recognize black people. How embarrassing.

HP has responded:

We are working with our partners to learn more. The technology we use is built on standard algorithms that measure the difference in intensity of contrast between the eyes and the upper cheek and nose. We believe that the camera might have difficulty "seeing" contrast in conditions where there is insufficient foreground lighting.

App of the Week: iMario

iMario is simply a soundboard brought to your iphone. iMario provides you with over thirty of the best sound clips from the classic Mario games. I have had so much fun just doing stupid things with this app. During our podcast I am constantly using it to make the coin sound when we do something good, or the game over sound when Brandon, Ricardo, or I epically fail.

Apple ready to announce new iPhone at WWDC 2010?

Apple might hold WWDC at Moscone West in June, as it has for the past several years. You should remember the famous original iPhone release in 2007 right? Then we went off to see the 3G come to life at WWDC 2008, then we saw the 3GS in all its glory at WWDC 2009, do you see a trend here? The exciting part is that AppleInsider just noticed that Moscone West is mysteriously booked from June 28 to July 2 by "Corporate Event," shivers run up my spine. But we are all wondering, what more can Apple squeeze out of our pockets?, how will we possibly resist?, how fast can I cancel my plan with AT&T?

Avatar Review - There are Movies, and then there's Avatar

I'll be the first to say that I wasn't at all excited for Avatar. I had posted the the first trailer on here months ago, but ever since then I lost whatever desire I had to go see the movie. Brandon suggested I check it out so I could write this review: it was the best decision I've ever made.

As soon as you are given the first glimpse of the world of Pandora you are reminded of the feeling you had when you first were welcomed to Jurassic Park - knowing that something was about to go down, and the suspense was killing you. 'What's all the hype about', you're asking yourself while you sit in your seat, eating that buttery popcorn and feeling the sticky theater floor. Then from one second to another you are thrown head first into an environment of stunning beauty, vibrant color, and mystery. There's no turning back from this point on, and the movie takes off as if on a rocket heading deep into space with you as it's passenger.

Video: Bing iPhone app Review | Google vs Bing

Really? Bing on the iPhone? Well, this could be a good thing. Although Google is “the best” search engine and Google was on the iPhone first, does not mean it’s app is good - I mean, it’s okay, but the app is very bland and washed out in terms of features and performance.

Bing’s app, however, is the exact opposite. Not only is it completely badass, but dare I say, it does a better job than Google. Ricardo shows us what’s up with this new addition to the appstore, and trust us, ditch the Google app. You just got ‘Bung’!

Poor iPhone reception graduates to SNL 'Weekend Update' joke status

SNL's Weekend Update has always been known to say some outrageous and just hilarious stuff. This is just another example of a true and awesome news report. "It was reported this week that Google would soon launch its own cellphone as a challenge to the iPhone. Also a challenge to the iPhone? Making phone calls."
