2000 - 09: a decade in gaming + My Game Of The Year Award

10 years have come and gone, and with them some of the biggest games of our time; The fps fad dominated, musical rhythm games went mainstream, and Mario jumped to new heights never before reached - everything we thought about video games changed during the past decade, and terms like casual gaming, mmorpgs, and motion controls gave new definitions to old favorites.

Sega quit the console race, Microsoft took its place, and the Sony giant was cut down by the little Nintendo that could; seriously, so much business, politics, and just sheer fun made this past decade one to remember.

Extended Na'vi Sex Scene Might Land on Avatar DVD

As brief giant blue lizard-cat sex scene that actually made it to Avatar wasn't disturbing enough, it turns out there's much more—and you weirdos may get to see it in the DVD release.

Like you know or saw in the movie, the Na'vi mated by joining those ultra-magical weaves of theirs together. The extended scene was hinted by Director James Cameron and Actress Zoe Saldana. Cameron implied that the longer cut might well end up in the special edition DVD/Bly-Ray release.

Gears of War Added To Games on Demand

The brilliant Gears of War (I wish I could say that about the seconnd game) gas been released to Xbox Live's "Games on Demand" service. This is great for people who have not yet played Gears of War, you don't have to leave your house and go and buy it. Here are the details:

Price: Varies by region
Availability: Not available in Japan

A Nightmare from Below. A Hero from Within. The planet lies in ruin - cities crumbling, Man's greatest works fallen. Humanity is cornered, nowhere to run. The Locust Horde has risen, and they won't stop coming. They won't stop killing. The Coalition is desperate for soldiers. The sick, the wounded, the imprisoned are all that remain. An inmate named Marcus Fenix, once left to die, is now charged with keeping humanity alive. He can take comfort in but one fact: The human race isn't extinct. Yet.

I would highly reccommend buying this game if you haven't already, it is superb. But, don't bother with the second.
