iPhone 4.0 Beta 2 Already Here

With under 2 weeks of beta 1 being released, Apple has released beta 2 for developers. Beta 1 has had a large amounts of bugs and some interruptions using the phone entirely. In the past 2 weeks I have had to constantly restart my iPhone because i’m “not connected to the internet” when I clearly am, not to mention all my texts being deleted, not being able to backup, and more. I’m going to update right now and pray it’s more stable. Don’t worry though, all the bugs will be worked out by release date, I hope!

We all know about the iPhone prototype that was found by someone at a bar, and then snatched by Gizmodo and posed in-front of the camera, but how did this all unfold?

64 Boy - the Portable N64 mod

64 Boy - the Portable N64 mod

Yeah, this is just pure genius. The level of customization and design that went into this mod is insane, though, I can only imagine holding that thing must be a pain after a long while. It probably isn’t the lightest thing to hold while playing.

Again, this is just pure genius and all kudos goes to spiritwalker47 for this awesome build. I mean, who wouldn’t want to play Smash Bros. on the go?

If you didn’t watch the full video it should be noted that the 64 Boy is up for sale. That’s if you have $1,000 bones to spare that is.

Editorial: Motion Controls - A New Standard

When the Wii was first unveiled, and the Wiimote shortly thereafter, I was enticed with Nintendo’s promise of a revolution. Little did I know that that revolution would have little to do with me, the loyal lifelong gamer, and have more to do with the player who hadn’t picked up a controller in decades, or even those who never picked one up in their entire lives.

This “revolution” brought back gaming to its roots but left little room for the hardcore class of gamers who had long since been grown custom to increased difficulty levels and shiny polygons. Sure, Wii Sports was fun, and so was Wii Fit, but a game like Red Steel left much to be desired for the older players who expected more from a game that was a part of this so-called revolution. Gamers agreed that even Zelda: The Twilight Princess was better experienced on the Gamecube than on the Wii, and since then there haven’t been many hardcore titles that have wow’d or even garnered well deserved attention from older players.

Porn for Blind people. Wait what?

Porn for Blind people. Wait what?

Oh great, a lady in Canada has found a way to take pictures of naked people, and allow blind people to get some thrills. This seems all in good taste, but all the people that are in the books have elephant masks, boxes on their heads and guns.

Seems like this book called “Tactile Mind” a niche product, but will these “Nudy Pictures” ever take off? No.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Teaser Trailer Leaks

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is real, it’s here, and it’s oh so awesome! There were rumors, and there were leaks, but now there’s no denying it. And here’s who we know are in the roster so far for sure: Ryu, Wolverine, Iron Man, Morrigan, The Hulk, and Chris Redfield.

We’re hoping this video doesn’t get taken down as we’re expecting the official trailer to hit soonish, but if it does we’ll try to find a replacement source as soon as we can.

Marvel vs Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds will release in Spring of 2011
