Palm in-browser SDK now available

This is a really original take on what an SDK is - usually, its a program(s) that you load onto your PC or Mac, so you can sit for hours and write programs (or not do it at all for the iPhone because you dont have a Frigging Mac). This has 2 major advantages - the first is not needing any particular OS to run the software, which can be a really inconstant experience when using more than one OS, and also being able to keep it inside the browser for a much more versatile suite of tools, which can be used anywhere. Even if you don’t have a Pre, or even plan to develop for it, this might be a cool idea to mess around with it and learn a thing or two!

Hands on with the iPhone 4 - Video

You want a “found” iPhone prototype? You get your company to pay $10k and voilà! - you have an instant top-of-the-charts review for a product that is not even out yet. Gizmodo must have the jitters from how many hits they are receiving today, namely their iPhone 4 post which around 2:00PM EDT had over 1,500,00 views, not to mention the video views and recognition. They are probably dreading the moment when uncle Jobs finds out, puts on his boots and stomps out to grab the guy who “found” the iPhone by the scruff of his neck and give him the (legal) beating of his life. All that aside, enjoy the video and make sure to check out some more info, and our take on the iPhone 4!

What? New Facebook ads will use your Web History?

This is a little weird, but yet again - Facebook throws privacy out the window along with our feelings and decides to use our web history for their ads. Now, I’m very impressed to see this put to use, from a buisness standpoint, especially the way they are implementing it but seeing this as a user, I am now frankly a bit nervous to click those Facebook share buttons because that is where the magic happens.

When you click one of those share buttons on a blog, Facebook sniffs out where you are coming from, and then adds that to your little basket of history. When they want to show you an ad, they refer to that little basket of history and make sure the ad is relevant to what you like, based on that history they have collected. Mashable has some more info on this and it starts to make a bit of sense after reading it, but how is this going to pan out with the weight of the public against them, and how do you feel about Facebook “tracking” your clicks?

iPhone 4G caught on Video

Read more about the iPhone 4G - This is the new iPhone from Apple, and might I say, its a bit uglier than the 3GS. It looks way to shiny, and glossy and I thought that Apple was moving away from that look (Matte new Macbooks, iPad…)

The excitement though, thats what is so awesome about the next iPhone, especially when you get a leak like this! - Watch video
