Firefox: The only browser with a Justin Bieber removal add-on
Okay, so this has to be the funniest thing we’ve seen in a long, long time. If you’re sick of Justin Bieber or are starting to come down with Bieber-fever and want to get rid of it early; a new Firefox add-on is just what the doctor ordered. — If you’re not using Firefox then well, you might want to consult a specialist for your sudden fever.
Anyway, Shaved Bieber promises to remove all traces of the teenage pop sensation from your browser, thus resulting in him becoming “he-who-must-not-be-named.”
As much as this add-on is funny, we’re left scratching our heads wondering why you wouldn’t just stop googling him?
Mass Effect movie rights purchased by Legendary

The concept of having a Mass Effect motion picture hitting the silver screen sometime soon has become an even greater possibility now that Legendary Pictures have purchased the rights. Legendary has the honor of being the studio to co-produce titles such as The Dark Knight, 300, Clash of the Titans and Watchmen, so it looks as if they’ll do the game justice.
EA announced this deal on Monday, clearing up that Warner Brothers will be in charge of distribution while Legendary will take over for production. Thomas Tull of Legendary had this to say about the opportunity to work on the new Mass Effect movie: “ripe for translation to the big screen… [and] a prime example of the kind of source material me at Legendary like to develop.”
No word yet on exactly what events the movie will cover from the game; The possibility that the characters, setting and general world will be used with a completely unique set of events (see Resident Evil) may be a possibility, but at this point we’ll just have to sit back and wait.

Reach Confirmed for September 14th Release
Reach Confirmed for September 14th Release
With the excellent Halo: Reach beta already behind us, Bungie has confirmed that the game will be shipping on the previously rumored date of September 14th in the west with it following a day later in Japan.
Bungie also gave some insight on the beta itself, stating that “Players collectively logged more than 16 million hours and more than 1.1 billion virtual kills during the 18-day beta”. They also confirmed that more people logged onto the Reach Beta in one day than during the entirety of the Halo 3 beta event. Insane!
Walmart slashes iPhone 3GS to $97

Can’t say we didn’t see this coming, although it appears to have happened a bit sooner than we’d thought. Walmart recently announced that it’ll be selling the 16GB iPhone 3GS for the low, low price of $97 (that’s $100 off its regular retail price). With WWDC right around the corner (and the probable release of the leaked iPhone) it comes to no surprise that Walmart’s decided to shuffle the old out and remain vigilant for the new — not to mention rumours have been floating around claiming the 3G is no longer being shipped to stores, which ultimately means the 3GS is poised to take its place. So the 3GS is now miles cheaper (which is always a good thing); however, you might want to wait and see what Apple’s got coming before running out and wasting spending $97.

King of Fighters 13 gets Promo Movie
King of Fighters is at its 13th installment and with it comes an awesome PMV (Promotional Movie). And my gosh, this. game. looks. gorgeous!
I’m a huge fighting buff, but to be honest I never got into the KOF series. Which I’m ashamed to admit, seeing as most of my familiarity with the characters and universe spawn from playing countless rounds of SNK vs. Capcom against friends.
But anyway, there’s one thing we can all agree upon. And that’s that this game is what true HD 2D gaming is all about. Yeah, I’m looking at you Super Street Fighter 2: HD Remix.
iPhone App Review - Seesmic
Twitter has been at the forefront of social communication since it first launched back in 2006. As the micro-blogging service aged and matured, it became more apparent that this social networking tool wasn’t about to burst like most microcosms before it (a la MySpace); and with that, app developers Android and iPhone OS over set off on their merciless quest to develop the perfect Twitter app. We’ve already grown accustomed to Twitter apps like Twitter for iPhone (formerly Tweetie), Twitterific, Twitterlator Pro, and even Echofon, but just how does Seesmic for the iPhone (and iPod Touch) compare not only to its iPhone brethren, but also to its Android namesake? All of your questions will be answered, however you’ll have to read on to find out.

How To Make an iPad Stand With a Coat Hanger
This is one of those moments when we say “Why didn’t I think of this first?” and give ourselves a Facepalm.
As a matter of fact, I made one of these just a few minutes ago, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I did add some stuff to it, like padding on the corners that rest against the iPad and some re-enforcement using some thin wire, but all in all, this is a great DIY iPad stand.
