Bungie Day Brings the Return of an Old Favorite in Halo: Reach

Happy Bungie Day! Every year on the “7th of the 7th” developer Bungie celebrates everything Halo and this year is no different! While we didn’t get a new map for Halo 3 or ODST, Rooster Teeth and Bungie teamed up to make a new Red vs Blue episode specifically to show off a surprise: the return of the classic “Blood Gulch” map that was insanely popular in Halo 1 and 2.

Apparently you’ll also get the chance to go “beyond the canyon” suggesting that the level has grown in size. Expect more info at Comic-Con so we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more news from Bungie Studios!

Burger King introduces 'musical showers' thanks to PMPs

Just when you thought one of your all time favourite (or not) low-brow burger joints was far from being technologically savvy, the Japanese have decided to do something about it. A Burger King restaurant opening in the heart of the Land of the Rising Sun normally isn’t exciting news, however, this time they’ve decided to up the ante with PMP (portable media player) controlled “musical showers.” Yep, you read that right — those translucent umbrella shaped cones barrage their booth master with an array of tunes. All you’ve got to do is plug your media player into the wall adapter and let the good times roll. Well, maybe it isn’t totally a “good time,” after all, you’re still in a Burger King.

Free iPhone 4 Silicone Case Fixes Reception Issues

We can all imagine the day that Apple hands out its Bumpers to iPhone 4 owners free of charge (or maybe some of us can’t). But in the mean time a company by the name of cases.com has stepped up to the plate and is now offering to send out free “Lifegrip” silicone cases that will protect against drops and fix the notorious reception issues. You get to choose from any of the bright colors shown in the image but some will arrive later than others depending on popularity. The only catch is that you have to pay for shipping, which will set you back a minimum of $3.73. But then of course you could always just fix your iPhone for $1 yourself.

I remember first seeing Back to the Future Part II and thinking how awesome it’d be to live in 2015.
