EverCookie - A Browser Cookie with personal info that can't be deleted »
“When implemented by a website, evercookie stores a user ID and cookie data in not two, not three, but eight different places—with more on the way. Among them are your standard HTTP cookies, Flash cookies, RGB values of force-cached PNGs, your Web history, and a smattering of HTML5 storage features.” — Ars Technica
Netflix hires actors for crowd - Canadian selection isn't that great
There wasn’t a struggle to draw a crowd on the spur of the moment at Netflix’s Canadian press event — because they hired actors. Yes, Netflix hired actors to “play types” and handed out scripts, asking them to “behave as members of the public” who just “happen upon a street event for Netflix and stop by to check it out” during the event.

Asssist - Android Dribbble app goes live
Asssist - Android Dribbble app goes live
Yesterday, Todd Halfpenny’s Android Dribbble app called “Asssist” made a smooth entry into the Android marketplace. Today it received an update, and was officially ready to go. Todd is currently looking for beta testers, and help getting the app on it’s feet.
Now let’s state the obvious — This is one of the ugliest apps I have seen to date, and in no way reminds me of Dribbble — but hey, it’s here and it’s made for us with love — Grab the app here!

Stephen Colbert "talks" with Eric Schmidt and covers the Craigslist Faux pas »
We heard this news before now, but we never heard it from Colbert and because of that, we’re watching. Eric Schmidt takes the stand, and “talks” with Stephen, as he answers very frank questions about what Google does — and somehow manages to dodge some insanely pointed questions from Colbert. Great stuff, so watch it now!
Netflix Streaming is now in Canada for $7.99 per month
Eh! Everybody get your credit-card fingers ready and start popping the pop-corn — Today, Netflix Canada announced that Canada would be receiving streaming services for $7.99/mo, and it’s ready to go right now, which is amazing within itself. What’s even more awesome is the Canadian service works on PS3, Wii, iPad and iPhone — But Xbox 360, Blu-ray Players and HD TV’s are not ready quite yet.

Bioshock Infinite Gameplay Trailer
While you’re on your lunch break, take some time to watch this gameplay trailer and mind-blow yourself. This is a 10 minute gameplay trailer of epic proportions that makes every bad trip you had back in high-school look like a joke. You are floating around on buildings, shooting birds out of your chest and watching people shoot up into the sky. Sense? Absoloutly none. Most amazing thing you’ve ever seen? Absoloutly.

A closer look at the HTC Desire HD - Video
I am in love with HTC’s “Sense” UI, and this video makes me drool with envy. Admittedly, I think the vanilla Android OS is one of the ugliest out there, and I really hope Gingerbread (3.0) brings a fresh UI re-vamp — but there is something about “Sense” that really hits a sweet spot. Feel free to watch the full 7 min video, but you should probably save it for later (unless your boss is into gadgets… or you work for HTC).
