How to hack into a Windows PC and stop it from happening to you

Just when you thought you were safe, and your data was guarded by an un-hackable password, LifeHacker publishes an article that will scare you as much as it will excite you. It will excite you because you’ll be able to hack into friends computers, and mess around with their files and say “see, you gotta protect your crap man!”, or change their wallpaper to the blue screen of death, hide the icons and startbar and watch them freak out.

DOS Emulator for iPad - Video

DOS Emulator for iPad - Video

This is what being a geek is all about — putting a DOS emulator on an iPad to achieve what? Complete frigging awesomeness. Demoed by @chrispirillo, iDOS is the worlds first proper DOS emulator for iPad and iPhone which will allow you to play Pac Man, change into the DOS font and maybe run Windows — yes, some early tests have proven that old versions of Windows (3.0, 3.1) can be run on iDOS. Sadly, the app was ripped from the app store not to long ago, so you’ll have to run this on a jailbroken device.

Grab a copy of iDOS from the Installous app (Jailbroken iDevices only).

Here is a game you should play - Trials 2 Second Edition

I really dislike most games that are out there, mostly because (to me) they all feel like bloated and regurgitated sequels and re-makes. Rarely do I see an indie game that looks good, and plays well — but even less do I see an indie game that I like. If you are like me, and you aren’t sold on the whole gaming scene, this is a game you should play — mindless, reckless fun.

WebComic of the Week - Not Invented Here

This weeks serving of web comics is both balanced in humor, storyline, and vitamin C. Not Invented Here is a realivty new web comic, debuting near the end of September last year, and is hungry for attention. The artist, Bill Barnes’ style has improved in leaps and bounds since the start of the seris, now opting for a more cartoon-y version of the characters.

Mozilla delays Firefox 4 release - early 2011

Well, this isn’t great news and has really put some serious frowns on Firefox fan’s faces. Mozilla has officially announced that Firefox 4 will be delayed until “early 2011”. The reason is that Mozilla is having a tough time completing the Add-on development software and polishing up Firefox 4 for a fully baked release. Here is a snippet from their group message:
