T3ch H3lp's Essential iPad Apps Collection

Apps, apps, and more apps - that’s what the iPad is all about. Surfing the internet has always been about websites and using their services, however now with the iPad it’s always more convenient when a site has an iPad app, that can give you all the info you need that is both enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing… oh and let’s not forget, practical.

So we’ve rounded up the top 19 iPad apps — everything from games, entertainment, news, and utilities — not in an attempt to make an “end all list”, but rather to give you a good idea of what some of the best apps you can find on the apple app store. We’ve also tried to keep the list as frugal as possible, so only a handful are necessary to be purchased / Read on for the list.

QML MultiLayer Parallax Desktop Demo is pretty neat

A new concept called the QML MultiLayer Parallax Desktop is under development by Cybercom, and it looks pretty interesting. The whole “3D navigation” thing has us interested, and the system as a whole seems pretty snappy and smooth. It’s not so practical, but these initial concepts could be applied to some very interesting Operating Systems — maybe Linux?

The Jawbone "JAMBOX" -- A hipster's super-power

The Jawbone "JAMBOX" -- A hipster's super-power

If a hipster could have super-powers, it would be the ability to take something the size of a shoe that’s “vintage” looking (complete with dials and big switches) that can pump out music from their iPhone (making them the life of the party), and help them in the office. To me, this seems pretty cool  — if only it came with a skinny white belt and a sweater-vest.

Google Voice iPhone App Now Live

When Google first announced Google Voice, we got really excited. A new phone number we could connect to any phone we had? Better calling features then services we were paying for and Google Voice was free? Madness I tell you!

After a decent app was officially released for the iPhone, Apple quickly removed from the app store, mainly because Google voice did amazing things that AT&T and the iPhone could not — like listening to voicemails as they were being left, free texts, and more.

Well the time has come and Apple has finally approved the long awaited Google Voice App. It’s very polished and I can’t wait to use it. Of course, you will need a Google Voice phone number but hey, it’s nice to have your own buisness line for free — Huzzah!

Breakaway - iPad on Verizon Ad

The ad’s been out in the wild for about a week now, but I just barely caught sight of it during Monday Night Football last night. Thought it should be shared for everyone who may have missed it.

Also, Steverooni99 on Youtube made me laugh with this comment, “verizon makes you homeless?”

t3ch Review - Stealth Guards for iPod Touch 4G

Everyone’s heard of the famed ZAGG InvisibleShield, but what about Stealth Guards? Basically, it’s a little company that has been handing out free full body coverage films for over a month now. This is a pretty good way to get your name out there if you’re a small company but just how good are the actual films? Let’s take a look.
