Why today's iTunes Beatles announcement is important

Todays announcement of the Beatles coming to iTunes took over the Apple homepage, and the iTunes store. It’s all over the headlines, and Apple is treating it like a flagship product release — even though it’s just some new music. It may seem dumb that the Beatles are coming to iTunes, even though you already have every song on CD, ripped to your iPod and this seems like a money grab — but it’s not. It’s just a little something for Apple on a more personal level, and they’re not planning to make a bunch of money.

Wunderlist - Beautiful, Easy to Use Task Manager with Sync Options

I’ve always been about task management; look at my desk at work, even my workspace at home, and you’re bound to see post-it notes and to-do lists all over the place. What can I say? I love to stay organized! So when I found Wunderlist, a to-do list app that not only is easy to use but also modernly stylish, I just had to take it for a spin.

Microsoft - Kinect sells 1 Million Units in 10 Days

Gamers everywhere may have doubted motion controls, but Microsoft knew what they were doing from the start. Now a little over one week since its release, the Kinect has sold over 1 million units, which interestingly enough is a lot more than the total sales of the Wii after its first 8 days on the shelves, back in 2006 - 600,000 units. And even more interesting to note, is that back then people were throwing down $250 for a full on console, whereas the Kinect is a $150 peripheral to a console that people must already own. More details after the break!

Podcast Ep. 11 - The most abrupt ending in the world

Well, I accidentally Garage-banded the last 5 minutes of the podcast — but it’s ok! It was only us arguing about the iPod touch and plugging our Twitter and blogs — so follow us @maxrobes2000 @theobamanizer @itsbrandond @darthrunia @nickmahar — and forgive me for cutting out Max Apps as well. I am very dissapointed in myself, but nevertheless, it is a fantastic episode!

Grilling Contest - iPhone vs Android vs Windows Phone 7

This certainly isn’t a phone comparison you see everyday and probably isn’t how you’re going to determine which phone to get - but it is definitely a pretty neat publicity stunt! In this viral video, an iPhone 4, T-Mobile G2, and HTC Surround are throw onto an EZ Grill and smoked to a crisp. Which phone can withstand heat the longest? Find out in this video!

She-Hulk and Zero make their way into Marvel vs. Capcom 3

They were both on the rumored list and they’ve both made into the final roster; this will be She-Hulk’s coming out party as I don’t think she’s ever been featured in a video game until now. And as for Zero, well this will be his second fighting game appearance - his first being the quirky anime mash up, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
