Julian Assange: "iPhone, Blackberry, Gmail users are all 'screwed' -- (Video)

If you live in the year 2011 and believe that your internet, mobile, and social activity isn’t monitored on a 24/7 hour basis then my friend, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Julian Assange paints the picture quite bluntly in this video where he explains that in a post-9/11 world, it’s more common than you think that spy software is being contracted out by local governments to monitor its citizens — even on their private devices.

Apex Armor Gen.3 aluminum bumper for iPhone 4 / 4S review

Apple first brought about the idea of a “bumper case” when they introduced the iPhone 4. The concept was to have protection around the sides of the iPhone but to keep the front and back of the phone exposed for a cleaner look. Since then, aluminum bumpers have sprouted up from a variety of companies, promising a more durable and stylish alternative. We had the chance to take a look at the third generation Apex Armor bumper; is it worth the $80 price tag? — Our full review after the break!

Xenoblade finally making its way to North America, exclusively at GameStop

Well, lookie here! It would appear that after much griping from JRPG fans, Nintendo has actually caved in and will be releasing one of the titles from Operation Rainfall’s demands list in North America after all. Xenoblade Chronicles, which up until a few months ago was a Japanese exlusive (which then branched out with localized versions in Europe), is finally getting ported over to the states and its north and southern neighbors as well. And when we say ported over, we mean “ported over” — as in we’re getting the British voice track. Not only that, but you’re only going to be able to buy the store at one place. Can you guess where? — More after the break!

Revolights gives your bicycle Tron wheels, for safety of course - Video

Enter Revolights, the lights that clip onto your wheels and essentially make you the maddest peddler in the city, while at the same time keeping you safe. Make sure to check out their webpage and help Revolights come to market!

The evolution of personal data storage since 1980 - Infographic

When the day came that we could store an entire library on a little disk, magic became a reality, I mean think about it for a second. We’re all storing enough information to fill an entire building, but it’s all crammed inside a little silver box, which we know as a hard drive — it’s incredible. This is an awesome infographic that shows us how data storage evolved from 1980 to the present day.

Steve Jobs shares his vision of the world with you -- (Video)

During my read of the Steve Jobs’ biography I’ve come to the not-so-surprising realization that Jobs always felt he was a pea out of the pod, a rebel, someone who deserved more attention than what was due to any one person, even when he was an unaccomplished teenager. And I think it’s that will-power, that belief that the world can be anything you want it to be, that garnered him the success he chased after for so long.
