Apple confirms Oct. 4th iPhone event, invitations go out -- (Picture)

One week from today, Tuesday October 4th Apple will be officially hosting their next big press event. The invitation (seen above) does everything it can in describing what will be the subject, however plays little into the hands of those curious if there’ll be a new iPhone 5, or simply a revised iPhone 4.
Take a quick look at the invitation. Notice anything? The first icon tells you the date, the clock reveals the time (10am PST), and the map icon — ever wonder where that actually is? Let me give you a hint; it’s in Cupertino. And finally, the phone icon displays one missed call. So we’ve got all our basic info: time, place, location, and topic.
We’ll be covering the event as best as possible, updating with every bit of news that gets out. We usually do a very good job on these, so you may want to keep refreshing when it all goes down next week.
