GameTraliers (and many other huge game review sites) are known for their strange choices in what makes good games good, and bad games bad. We’ve heard stories about their legitimacy and ethics, but this is just hilarious. We’re not saying it reflects their employees or writers in any way, we just think it’s funny to see how out of touch some people are.

A fresh take on the design of Skype for Mac
Ever since of the inception of Skype for Mac, people have been slightly under whelmed with the design of the interface. Skype 5.0 Beta for Mac was a step in the right direction, but was a clumsy attempt to simplify the interface while keeping all of the functionality. It was in-consistent, blank and a little messy, but UI designer Daryl Ginn has taken a whack at it and we think he’s made something that could really work for the text iteration of Skype for Mac.

Sure, we have seen crazy RC powered “stuff”, I mean all kinds of stuff, but this one is very special. It takes the body of a modern RC car and mounts a steam engine inside complete with burners, a rad suspension system and a cuddly driver. This thing is awesome, and if you pause the video at certain points, it looks as if it could be 20 feet tall!

The Other 99 are streaming 24/7 live video on Ustream from a mobile rig so you can be in the action, and see stuff happen as it happens. Really awesome to watch this un-fold live!

We’ve seen things like this before, but in photograph form. This is the first time we’ve seen a really great 360 degree video you can actually control, and man oh man is it beautiful. It’s not in HD of course, or the video would take hours to buffer, but non the less it’s awesome. Check out more of their work over here.
