Windows 8 Explorer will sport the pointless MS Office ribbon 

How does Microsoft attept to streamline the Windows brand and try to catch up to Apple? By stepping in the wrong direction and giving people what they DON’T want! For those who have Microsoft Office 2010, do you use that “ribbon” where those huge icons appear as options above the main work area? Yeah, well I don’t either, which is why I stopped using word and reverted back to Open Office. Well, for all of you who hate that ribbon you’ll be pleased to know that MS plans to utilize it in the Windows 8 Explorer. — More after the break!

AeroFS syncs your files using the cloud, but doesn't store them there

Remember the days when you had that memory stick on your keychain? Also the one in your car, the three at your desk and the two jammed into your laptop? Well, thanks to cloud technology, we have been able to swiftly sync files between multiple computers, and essentially eliminate the need for physical, portable file storage to transfer files. Services like Dropbox, Sugarsync and many more have allowed us to do this, but they also have quite a few setbacks.
