GlaDOS takes over Siri on iPhone 4S -- (Video)

Sure, the Siri voice command thing on iPhone 4S is impressive, but wouldn’t it be THAT much better if we had GlaDOS’ sweet, sarcastic tone to show us the emptiness of our meaningless daily routines that we seem to care about so much? Make it happen Apple!

Amazon giving out $2 credits toward Appstore purchases for Android users

The deal is pretty cool — nab 2 totally free dollars credit off the Amazon Appstore by simply tweeting a link and adjoining your Twitter and Amazon accounts together. Use the credit applied to your account toward ‘one-click’ purchases off the Amazon Appstore app on your Android device (phone or tablet). With a whole 200 cents at your disposal you can seriously take on the Zombie horde as they try to eat the neighborhood’s final reserve of plants, or simply try to ease the tension out of some very disgruntled birds. — More after the break!

You don’t hear much about the history of your favorite piece of software, but this infographic will get you up to speed in no time! — More after the break!

Coding points to iMessage and iChat becoming one in the same

So here’s what happened; Someone found a couple lines of coding within OS X Lion’s iChat that point to some interesting developments that might integrate the desktop IM service with the upcoming iOS iMessage (SMS replacement) app. The idea isn’t as farfetched as it seems, since Apple is trying its best, and not always successfully, into simplifying and unifying its services. — More after the break!

Netflix and Starz parting ways, taking its movies with it

Streaming has come a long ways since the initial days Netflix went live with its streaming content. C and B Movies were pretty much all they had to offer, that is until people like Starz came in and filled the void with films such as Unbreakable. Since then there’s been a snowball effect in which studio after studio has made a deal with Netflix to allow their content to be seen by the masses. But now it looks like Starz is having second thoughts and not renewing its contract with the streaming service. — More after the break!
