Convert AVI to MP4 - get movies to your iPad with this bare bones application

Getting movies you’ve “acquired” on your hard drive to your shiny iThing isn’t always as easy as people say it is. Sure, there are tons of applications out there that can do the job, but which of them are hassle free and are virtually idiot proof?
