Video - Leaked Sony Ericsson Xperia Play (Playstation Phone) Ad

I just don’t get it. Why does Sony keep making these bizarro commercials that absolutely nobody enjoys?

Didn’t they learn their lesson with their old methods of marketing the PS3 vs. the awesomeness of Kevin Butler?

Microsoft publishes details of looming Windows Phone 7 update

Software updates are often seen as a big deal; they transform hardware into something newer and better — that is provided they don’t come with any major issues resulting in a bricked device. That said, Microsoft has finally released some details in relation to its upcoming Windows Phone 7 update. And while the update isn’t going to be bringing the slew of features once thought, it does lend its wares to several issues. — More after the break!

Microsoft identifies Windows Phone 7 data leak culprit, finds ActiveSync issue in the process

You may remember a while back we reported on Windows Phone 7’s mysterious data phantom and Microsoft’s subsequent investigation into the matter. Well, now that the computer mogul has had time to conduct a thorougher investigation, it has come to light that the infamous 3G Data abusing culprit was none other than Yahoo Mail. In fact, we recently dove into the mobile company’s past, present, and subsequent future. HDblog gets full hands-on with Xperia Arc

Shown off during CES, Sony Ericsson touts the Xperia Arc as being one of the world’s thinnest phones. Throw in an HDMI port, 720 HD video recording, and a 8MP camera, and you have the makings of a possibly epic handset.

But no matter how awesome the specs are, if it doesn’t run smoothly and its UI isn’t intuitive then what’s the point?
