The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer looks interesting - but is it amazing?

Now, we can all agree that we’d rather watch this new trailer 24 hours stright than watch Tobey Maguire’s popped-collar dance sequence one more time — but we just don’t think this is a perfect trailer. We honestly think it was too long, and spread itself too thin. We’d rather see some Spider-Man action, a glimpse of a villan and a release date.

D-BOX Seating: The next revolution of the movie industry or the next distraction?

D-BOX promises to be the next big leap in movie theater technology, but is all this technology in the theater enhancing the movie or is it becoming a distraction from the real art of movie making? Some major film critics avoid 3D at all costs and D-BOX seating is next on their list of things to avoid. They say that anything in the theater that is not the movie itself is a distraction, and although major movie producers and theaters are pushing this technology as hard as they can to attract younger guests, they may just end up streaming the movie in their living rooms a couple months after it leaves the theater.

This New Half-Life short film is absolutely amazing - Video

They’ve completely nailed it, and really stuck with the “Half-Life feel” instead of churning out yet another overly-action, generic short film that happens to have “Half-Life” in the title. We won’t spoil it, but make sure you stick through till the last bit because when we watched, we basically lost all control, which insued in very loud “whooping” and massive nostalgia trips…

Uncharted film might get Neil Burger as writer and director

David O. Russel, whose film talents were better suited for projects not of video game origin, was first attached to direct the Uncharted adapation about a year ago. But after making countless changes to the story and mythos, thereby throwing out any sort of relationship between the proposed movie and its source material with the exception of its name, he was told to take a hike by Sony. Now a new challenger has entered the ring with The Illusionist and Limitess director and occasional screenplay writer, Neil Burger. — More after the break!

Chimps playing First Person Shooters are frighteningly very good - (Video)

Ok ok, so this actually a campaign by 20th Century Fox in promotion of the upcoming Rise of the Planet of the Apes movie due out August 5th, but how scared out of your mind would you legitimately be after seeing some kind of footage like that? I know I’d lobby for the capture and lock up of every one of our so-called “primate friends”.

Capcom: "Devil May Cry is getting a live-action theatrical film"

Dante is quite the charismatic guy, nabbing himself multiple games spanning over a decade now with the help of pretty much no one but himself. So it’s no surprise that soon when people think Devil May Cry, they might picture in their heads a full-length film. Capcom announced yesterday that the series is being adapted by Screen Gems and will be based off the DMC reboot game that Ninja Theory is working on. — More after the break!
