Zune HD - Video: Hands on with Zune HD

What we know so far

The Zune HD is going to rock it this fall, taking on the media giant of the 21st century, the apple iPod touch. The iPod touch is still so popular, I cant even make a blog post about its rival, without mentioning the iTouch itself!

We know that it will come with features, the iPod touch owners will be gealouse of no doubt! The Zune HD is set to feature a multitouch (capacitive) OLED screen in a 16:9 aspect ratio and will have a TV out port on the side (apparently HDMI).

Coming in 16 and 32GB versions, the device will also support wireless syncing to your computer. Some even speculate the PMP will support 3D Xbox games, if the Zune HD will actually use an Nvidia's Tegra chipset!

The new details also mention a Web browser on the Zune HD, which in turn supports multitouch. No word on what kind of browser this will be, but let's hope it won't be anything similar to Internet Explorer on Windows Mobile.

As previously reported, the Zune HD is set to launch this fall (probably September) with new details of international availability in Canada, the U.K, and France.

How to Install Guest addons for Ubuntu in virtualbox

Hai!

This is a neat video by midfingr (:P) from youtube.

I had just installed Ubuntu in VMware and after going through living HELL of not being able to connect to the network (briged, NAT, Static... >:| ) AND no desktop effects :( so after switching to virtualbox i am happy to report everything is seamless.

But not being able to up-my screen res to 1024*768 and limited to 800*600 and NO FULL SCREEN i came across this video to help me do that. So thank you midfinger and remember all of you to check www.youtube.ca/brandoon111 for more tech news and videos.

Safari 4 Beta Review and Demo

In this video I show you all the new things that make Safari 4 beta such a good browser. In my opinion, its better than Chrome, FireFox, Opera and IE8 for various reasons.

1. Its elegant new interface has the familiarity of chrome and IE8 with the elegance of safari.

2. It has the crazy fast speed of chrome and firefox and loads web pages almost instantly (im using an Ultra Lite ISP and its lightning fast!)

3. It has the stability that we've come to love in all apple products

4. It's interface is tailored to your OS. so if you use windows, it Matches all your programs so it gives it a very consistent feel and makes a great addition to any PC or Mac.

5. The "Top sites" screen is very helpful because its like the one you used in Chrome, but now you can pin your sites on there so they never go away and you can place them anywhere you see fit 6. Coverflow! Now you can browse through your bookmarks and history with full color, interactive thumbnails that use the all-mighty Coverflow!

Coke cans "flying" over toronto. BCC NEWS

BCC NEWS LIVE COVERAGE June 21st 2007 Toronto was buzzing with the news this morning that in-fact, coke cans as we know them, were "floating" over the skyline. Tens of thousands of torontonians were shocked at the site. One of the bystanders says:

Toronto has been through some strange things, but of them all this is the strangest.

The "sky cans" as the community calls them, are not vengeful, they are in-fact, quite peaceful.  Of all the people that saw this it is the scientists and biochemists are the most exited.

We have never seen such possibilities in manipulating the earths gravitational field, through something called reverse magnetic propulsion. This is used in a way by dolphins and sharks to navigate the water, without having to rely on there smell and sight, but we have never seen it used this way. Uni-corp labs,  Toronto Canada

As seen in the video below, you may as well be just as shocked as millions of people were on friday.
