Squarespace iPhone app is Done - Waiting for Apple

Updated on Sep 29, 2009 by Registered CommenterBrandon Davenport

Yay! It's here... Almost.

Squarespace has been known for their persuit of perfection. Everything those guys touch turns to Web 2.0 Gold!

It has been a long time waiting for the iPhone app and squarespace has been getting alot of undeserved heat. Around mid July, Squarespace put their iPhone app in Apple's grimey hands and after 3 weeks or so, people started to get antsy.

"When will it be out?" Was splatterd all over Squarespace's community forums. Alot of questions went un-aswered and people got border-line angry.

What Happened?

When Apple starts the proccess of getting an app into the app-store, it can take a long time. In squarespaces case, 2 Months (so far) and there was yet more bumps on the road.

A while after the app was submitted, the oh-so-sharp Apple guys published Squarespace's BETA app (which we can all agree is perfect anyways) and that got the hype up to a whole new level.

Once word got out that some lucky people got their paws on the BETA app, everyone was even more assured that it was going to be good.

BREAKING: Orange UK now carries iPhone 3G and 3GS

It is now official, Orange phone company has confirmed that they will carry the Apple iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. The company has not yet released the pricing agreements, but there's a excitingly small and promising release window... "later this year." XD

The price war is coming and its coming fast. With international currencies involved and Apple at the wheel, who knows what will happen? Will AT&T lose their grip on the iPhone, and will T-mobile jump on the band wagon? Who knows...

Thermaltake's intense Level 10 Chassis revealed

This is really a beautifle case and it should be known that the case is not only one of the most badass looking cases, but it is also one of the most functional. The locks on the rear panel keep the component bays secure. The upper right lock secures the PSU and motherboard compartments, while the left locks the hard drive trays and optical drive bays. Apple is close to releasing all-new MacBook line and a Tablet

The Plain ol' white Macbook that has been unchanged for 2-4 years (34 apple years) has been looking a little sad. This is why it gets me thinking. What is Apple going to do about their one and only "netbook-esque", low priced, Laptop that is a little outdated and has not seen a facelift in a looooong time.

These are the options that this product could take. A. Become apples sub-1000 dollar netbook.  B. Become Obsolete and be replaced by a tablet. It seems like a really black and white situation because those are the only logical options.

More after the break kids!

Schools seek out to build the 'unhackable' netbook network for students

The NSW Department of Education (one letter away from being NSFW) is using asset-tracking software, RFID tags, and BIOS-embedded filtering smarts to roll out 240,000 netbook computers into what CIO Stephen Wilson calls "the most hostile environment you can roll computers into" - the local high school.

Over four years, 240,000 Lenovo netbooks will be offered to students in Year 9. The netbooks can be kept until Year 12, or permanently should the student finish his or her studies at the school. Netbooks are also being offered to [...]

Ben Heck makes a one handed Xbox 360 controller

Ben Heck, is that guy that modded the 360 in some way, the first day it came out. His latest creation is a Xbox 360 controller which you use your right hand as usual, but the left analog stick is manouvered by your thigh.

We think it is pretty cool, and you will too! But what about the L1 and L2 triggers? and the D-pad. How do you use those? None-the-less it is really cool and we have a video after the break [...]
