Accel Invests in Squarespace - Raises $38.5 Million

The Squarespace team must be pretty excited right about now, considering that the business started in 2003 as a one man show, and continued that way until 2007 rolled around and CEO Anthony Casalena found some nice folks to work with him. The news officially broke on the Squarespace blog, but the story has since been picked up by TechCrunch.

Squarespace launches cloud widget - more features than expected

Yesterday, Squarespace rolled out their new Tag Cloud widgets and people went a little nuts over the fact that its not just a “tag cloud”. The new feature allows you to edit the look and feel through different filtering systems, and also edit different aspects of the cloud like opacity, sorting method and the ability to display it as a list instead. Squarespace says an iPad app and Android app are coming very soon

The almighty Squarespace is going to bless us with fancy new stuff to play with very soon - and I can’t help but be a little excited. According to Mark Burstiner, Squarespace’s new Engagement Leader, new apps will be available to download and “more consistent content is on the way”. Ok, what the hell I am really excited!

Squarespace goes Social with new Widgets

Well, Squarespace has done it yet again, and we are super excited - They are launching some shiny new Social plugins for your Squarespace site that will allow you to share your other content from around the web, with your visitors and friends. There is a slew of features for each widget  and the cool part is they are already installed, so all you have to do is point, click and wiggle some sliders - More info after the break!

Great, we're finally getting somewhere - and we are headed in the right direction! T3ch H3lp is growing like a bad weed and now our friends at Squarespace have decided to place us on their Examples Page front and center, and we are utterly speechless. This is truly an honor and all of our thanks go to you guys, our fans.
