How To: Resize Multiple Images on Windows 7 (Vista and XP too)

Whenever you take photos in a digital camera you get images the size of small posters. It's all good if you want to make a small museum, but if all you want to do is post them up on Flickr or share them with your family and friends, then having to resize them can be a pain if you do them one by one.

Fortunately for you, however, I've stumbled upon a sweet fix that involves no software and minimal effort on your part to resize as many pictures as you want in no time flat. Here's what you do:

Marcus and Dom Will Be Making An Appearance in Lost Planet 2

Surprisingly enough Cliffy B., of Gears fame, tweeted that there was "Kick ass news soon. VERY soon." Well, if you pick up Lost Planet 2 for Xbox 360, guess which dynamic duo will be appearing to kick some locust..... I mean, Akrid ass? Well, if you guessed Marcus and Dom you'd be correct. Capcom announced that they have partnered with Epic to allow Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago into the upcoming sequel to the 2007 game.

At this point it's unknown if they are just skins, actual characters (which probably wont happen), or if the two are just making an appearance in one of the game's levels. Alongside the announcement, Capcom released a trailer that shows Marcus and Dom teaming up with some Snow Pirates to take down a giant Akrid.  In other Epic related news, Cliffy B has gone on to say that we should "Keep your eyes open for megaton face melting news", which has many people speculating about a possible Gears of War 3 announcement in the near future - E3 anyone?

Stream Music Anywhere in your House w/ these Dongles

If you don't have a local network set up to share your tunes from PC to PC then I suppose this could be an alternative. Introducing Aperion's Home Audio Link System. Connect one of the 2 USB dongles into your source PC or device, then connect the receiver dongle into any audio/video receiver with a USB port and you'll be dancing to uncompressed streaming music - or so it says. Hmm... I'd like to get my hands on one of these systems to give them a proper audition.

I can see this working for people who are too lazy to do the aforementioned network, and also for music lovers who've got no ties to the internet. Regardless of the circumstance of being incapable of sharing music between sources, this system sure sounds interesting if anything else.

Key Features:

  • Send music from your computer, MP3 player, or other audio source to any audio-video receiver or audio system
  • Wireless Subwoofer - Connect your powered subwoofer or powered speakers wirelessly
  • Audio input via USB or Audio-In Jack
  • Send music throughout your house, or even outside
  • No software needed, just plug and play
  • Find new ways to use HAL, its applications are almost limitless
  • FREE SHIPPING
  • FREE lifetime technical support
  • One year warranty
  • $149.00

If Aperion is up for it, we'd love to give these devices a spin and let you guys know the verdict on them.

Microsoft Announces CSS3 support for IE9

Yes, you read that right. Someone at Microsoft must have noticed that 100% of their users were spending 99.99% of their time on the internet (using IE of course) and after years of hate mail and death threats sent to them by web developers (mine should arrive tomorrow) and now, thank the lord, they are realizing that Internet Explorer is junk.

Although the CSS3 support is only at an early stage of development, the IE9 team already looks to have made some impressive leaps forward. By the looks of the chart (after the break), IE9 appears to score an impressive 574 out of 578 in the official CSS3 selectors test, a vast improvement over IE8 which scored only 330/578. Chart After the break!

What Sucks About The iPad

I have read all morning about how excited and how much people are loving the iPad. I haven't gotten to play with it so I haven't completely written it off, but MY GOD, what a disappointment. I nearly killed the battery on my 3GS by updating the latest news - I wish I didn't. To call the iPad revolutionary is a grave mistake and I decided to create a list of what sucks about it.
