MSI Wind Custom Mod -- Now with Touchscreen

The MSI Wind is undoubtedly one of the most durable netbooks available -- of course, Nokia's Booklet 3G is suffice to say, just as enduring. Whilst the humble netbook's overall form factor has not changed drastically over the past couple of years (besides increasing screen real-estate, keyboard size and a few other minor transmutations) this may be one of those endearing changes.

Insanely Wind Forum member c0ff33, has drastically modded his beloved MSI Wind; using slider based phones as a model, he was able to invert the 10.1-display on top of the keyboard (which might we point out is now a resistive touchscreen). As an added bonus he moved the power button next to the screen whilst also adding a button to choose either Win7 or OSX upon system boot. -- Does it get much better than this, I think not.

We talked about it the other day but now it's confirmed; Skype is busy making adjustments to its iPhone app to allow calls over the 3G network. Previously, this was disallowed by Apple but with the iPad getting 3G capabilities it only makes sense to loosen the chains - Watch it HERE

Firefox on Android, the Proverbial White Knight

Firefox helped to redefine the web-browser, liberating most computer users from the grasps of Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Whilst most wish Mozilla's browser was usable on other platforms such as the iPhone, Windows Mobile and Android. -- Oh wait did someone forget to inform you of the Android version?

The folks over at Android Central recently broke this story, enlightening us with the recently ported desktop version of Firefox for… yep you guessed it Android palpable handsets. As you can clearly see, the browser entails the accustomed multi-tab interface; looks like were definitely one step closer to achieving a mobile version of Firefox on Android handsets.

Feb 3 - NASA Found a UFO flying at 11,000 MPH

O my gosh u guys! NASA has apparently said they have found a "X-shaped object" traveling at like a million miles an hour (11,000 mph to be exact) and of course, word has spread like wildfire around the internets and we are going along for the ride. You can see that there is something wrong with this comet or as NASA puts it "This is quite different from the smooth dust envelopes of normal comets". I think this raises more questions than answers...

If I ever saw a trailer for a video game and forgot it wasn't for a blockbuster Hollywood film, well this is that trailer. Once you start watching you are dragged back into the BioShock universe all over again, but once you are about 2 minutes into it, you realize that its not what you remember. Sure there are elements that are in relation to the predecessor, and some are back, but whats the deal with playing as Daddy?
