HTC's HD2 takes one small step for American consumers everywhere

The long awaited HTC HD2 has taken yet another step forward in its arduous task to reach the hands of American consumers. Officially being branded as “coming soon” under T-Mobile’s phone inventory, the 4.3-inch  touchscreen monster is hell bent on fulfilling all of your Windows Mobile 6.5 needs. Whilst being branded the best Windows Mobile handset to date, the future of this device is still up in the air; with it’s path to Windows Phone 7 Series sanctum still unknown, just how many people are actually prepared to purchase this device?

Pricing still remains a mystery; however, it's rumored price point is around $199.99 on contract and $499.99 unlocked.

Rumor: Sony Playstation Phone coming in 2010?

BoyGeniusReport is throwing out a Wallstreet Journal rumor that Sony is making some sort of conflabbit contraption that wants to compete directly with not only the iPhone, but also the Windows 7 phone series, and the upcoming iPad.

Ok - what?!

Does Sony really think they have what it takes to craft something so well it can go up against not only Microsoft but also Apple?

Are they going to be counting on their line up of old PS1 games to make their rumored device a must own? I seriously don't know what Sony has up their sleeve but I think they have one hand too many in a number of cookie jars; Focus on what exactly you want to do with the PSP and PS3 systems before you decide to make a phone out of them.

Spit Shine your iPhone to look Brand Spanking New

Even though I use a Speck case to guard my iPhone from the dangers of outward scratches, it still somehow manages get itself in a mess of trouble. Thank god to MacRumors' forum who's found a pretty awesome way to get that old cruddy iPhone of mine back into tip top condition.

But be forewarned, it can be a pretty hardcore process involving sanding, waxing, and dare I say... polishing. Yeah, it's not going to clean itself so you're going to have to put a little bit of work into it but as the photos above show, it's well worth the effort and costs less than $20 to do.

Also, don't be alarmed that in the "After" example image the Apple logo is missing; if you follow the directions to the T you can keep your Apple pride shining bright for everyone to see.

Are you ready to Backflip into Android on AT&T?

Are you ready to backflip into Android? If you are, Motorola’s Backflip is now on sale at AT&T for $99.99 after a mail in rebate with a 2-year commitment. Rocking a slightly unorthodox design, the Backflip’s running Android 1.5 with Motorola’s very own Blur interface superimposed above. All-in-all it’s a decent low-end smartphone, however if you’ve got a hankering to run MotoBlur may we suggest looking at the Motorola Devour on Verizon first.
