How to skip through DVD Trailers and Warnings
How to skip through DVD Trailers and Warnings
Yeah, we all hate those trailers - but what about those solid blue screens of death that sit there forever, warning us about being sued, or arrested for something we don’t really care about. Here is how to skip though all that, plus the crappy trailers that just hold you back from the feature presentation. Its as simple as poking a few buttons - Read more
iPad Sprocket Pocket will make you Facepalm
Why. Why do we need this for our iPad? - and how does it make us more efficient at staying safe on a bicycle? I’m not going to slam this Sprocket Poket, but it really makes no sense to me. When you turn, you are supposed to signal before turning right? Using Sprocket Pocket when you lean to the left, it signals a left turn which means that by the time you have signaled, you’re making the turn. Don’t get me wrong this is a cool idea, but I dont see people using this at all. Would you use it? - Video after the break!

Apple wants to switch to AMD Processors
Apple wants to switch to AMD Processors
C-c-c-combo breaker! - All this success with the iPhone, iPad and the recent Macbook pro refresh has given papa Steve a lot of confidence, maybe to the point of being a little to cocky.
Maybe its age, or maybe the power has gotten to his head, but Steve may be planning to shove AMD CPU’s into all Macs, to cut costs and probably sell them at the same price - Read more
How Skyfire for the iPhone will work

How it will work
What Skyfire does is very similar to Opera; When Skyfire loads a page it does all the hefty lifting on Skyfire’s end, not on your phone. Since it works like this the entire website is rendered, parsed and loaded on their servers. We touched on Skyfire just yesterday, but now let’s take a look on how it all works:
If Skyfire has all the control on how the page is downloaded and rendered then they could somehow work with flash, right? Yes, and they have figured out how to side-step this little obstacle by processing all sorts of rich online media (Flash, Silverlight, etc.) through their servers, allowing the browser to stream video to smartphones and iPhones.
When is it going to be available?
There is absolutly no information on when, or what they are going to release (most likley a browser like Opera). You can try following them on Twitter - @skyfire - and come back to T3ch H3lp when we have some more info but for now, all we know is something is brewing and if Steve Jobs gets a look inside the pot, all hope is lost.

PSA - Copying is not Theft
This generation and its file sharing technology has put the older folks in charge of major film studios and music labels in hot water. People who’ve lost money by means of piracy have revolted by saying that file sharing is stealing, though that idea is still up for debate.
This cute cartoon tells the other side of “piracy” and comes over from the smart people at QuestionCopyright.org, who are pushing for Copyright reform - which is desperately needed.
SaskTel CEO claims new iPhone coming in June

That’s right kids, its time for another “new iPhone” rumour, this time coming to us from Canadian SaskTel CEO Robert Watson. In a discussion regarding SaskTel’s 3G network launch, Mr. Watson had this to say:
“The good news is that Apple is coming out with a new version of the iPhone in the June time-frame and they’re going to put us on that. So we’re quite excited about that.”
Make what you will with this claim, but if this information is correct then the CEO would whole-heartedly know about it (a la Mr. Watson). Once again make what you will of this, but remember only time will tell.

New Super Mario Galaxy 2 Gameplay
Some awesome footage of Super Mario Galaxy 2 gameplay has surfaced across the internet and it appears that NintendoEverything is the original source.
With that said, every single new clip I see from this game makes me lament that it’s not in my hands this exact moment. I mean, did anyone else hear the original theme from Super Mario World? Talk about bringing back the classics in a fun and new way.
Yoshi, dude, you are as lovable as the day I first rode your back. I won’t betray your trust this time.
