iPad vs Windows 7 - Chart
WTF: This is the strangest comparison in the history of Apple and Microsoft - for a multitude of reasons not even possible to fathom. Apple and the big M go way back in time to when they were both the little guys in the industry, and now they are all grown up and battling it to the bitter end, swapping ideas once and a while. And as most of you know (and if you don’t shame on you), Microsoft has released a spankin’ new OS and Apple has pushed out a shiny new iThing, and both are extremely un-related. It just seemed time to compare the two in this completely unneeded, and unsourced chart of doom - after the break!

New Super Mario Galaxy 2 trailer looks amazing
I don’t know about you but Cloud suit Mario may just be my new favorite power up next to the Propeller suit from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
We haven’t seen many new power ups in the past decade or so from the Italian Plumber but in his last four outings (Galaxy, NSMB, NSMBW, Galaxy 2) he’s already brought in more than 10 new power ups! Talk about progression.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is due out May 23rd.

The iPad has been the most exciting gadget of 2010 - and it has every right to be. It has snappy software, sleek, clean hardware and a rapidly growing App store. It seems this is the next hot item for every urban hipster who has some cash to throw around, and the modern yuppie. There are so many fingers being pointed at everybody, nobody has any hands free to get some work done! Adobe is wiggling their tounge at Apple, and Apple is reacting like a little school girl. It is quite funny, but me leaning more towards the HTML5 and CSS3 side (being a designer and all) I couldnt help but agree with Apple, but now I am just confused and I dont know what to do. Attention - Beat Hazard is Gaming Perfection
Simple and to the point, Beat Hazard, developed by the independent studio, Cold Beam Games, is a new take on the old Asteroids style gameplay but with a musical twist. What makes this game so awesome is that it uses the music located on your hard drive and changes the intensity of the game depending on how hardcore your music is. So literally the experience changes every time you play a new song, and so everything varies on your taste in tunes.
But why am I talking about this now when the games been available on the Xbox 360 since late last year? Well, how about the fact that game was just released on PC and is now available via Steam for less than $10. A mix of retro gaming along with achievements and leaderboards, and not to mention your own personal soundtrack, makes Beat Hazard one of the raddest sit downs I’ve had with a game in recent memory. And y’know, sometimes a casual game like this is all you need to relax and feel like a true gamer.
