EA - "Crysis 2 was crafted to be a Halo Killer"

EA couldn’t more clear with what they’re trying to accomplish with their Crysis series:

“We were trying to craft a Halo-killer, you know a product that would squarely go after what Bungie built with our partners at Crytek. So the Crysis 2 product is spectacular, very high-end, and is going to be a multi-year franchise.”

- Frank Gibeau, EA Games label President

I can’t even remember the last time I heard the term “Halo Killer”. Anyone remember when the first Killzone was supposed to be the one to topple Bungie’s money maker? Yeah, then came the endless wave of FPS titles that tried to do the same thing. Ugh, what a horrible time that was.

But on another note, y’know what I was thinking? Both Nomad and Chief are pretty stagnant guys when it comes to their personalities. And despite being heroes and stuff, I’m pretty sure that it’d suck to share a beer with either of them and strike up a conversation.

Olivia Munn Pranks Love Sick Intern - Video

What do you do when you figure out you will be interviewing Olivia Munn? In this Interns mind, he needed to mess up the hair, throw on a plaid shirt, grab some horn-rim glasses and slap on a bow-tie for good measure, because afterall, Olivia digs nerdy guys.

Little did he know Olivia was in on the prank, one of which she would treat him like dirt, and in just moments, awkwardness ensues - Read more

New God of War Announced, Heading to PSP

So that’s what all that teasing was about! Sony and Ready at Dawn announced another game in the God of War series, making it their second time visiting the PSP platform. Ready at Dawn, who made the excellent Chains of Olympus, will be returning to create Kratos’ next adventure.

Titled God of War: Ghost of Sparta, the game will take the form of a prequel to God of War 2, picking up right after the events of the original God of War. The game will tell the story of Kratos’ ascension to God of War and to prove himself; he will journey into lost worlds and confront his past. Ready at Dawn is claiming that they are “pushing the visual boundaries of the PSP and adding to refinement to the gameplay.”

How to run iPhone apps on iPad without pixel doubling

How to run iPhone apps on iPad without pixel doubling

Have you noticed that when you are running an iPhone app on the iPad, and you go to blow it up by 2x, it looks all pixelated, or blurry? Thats because Apple used a really lazy way of making the apps bigger, they just doubled everything.

There is a new way to do this, which requires a Jailbreak (really easy to do using the free Spirit software), and allows the iphone apps to expand, with flexability - Read more
