Do not trust Profile Pictures - Samsung's PSA
In what might be one of my favorite advertisements I’ve ever seen for any kind of product, Samsung gives us an overdue lesson on profile pictures and the “angles”.
So does anyone feel like buying a Sumsung ST 550/TL 225 just to see more ads like this?
HTC Desire, Legend, and Wildfire to recieve Android 2.2 in Q3
When someone buys an Android powered HTC handset their often dubious as to whether it’ll receive the next iteration of Android. Well, HTC’s recently confirmed that the Desire, Legend, and the recently released Wildfire will all get Android 2.2 (Froyo) — topped off with your favourite HTC UI — sometime in Q3 of 2010 (that’s not that far off guys, hang in there). When asked about the impending update, HTC’s UK team had this to say:






Here comes Android 3.0 Gingerbread with a revamped UI »
Just as Android 2.2 is on the edge of release, word gets out that Android 3.0 “Gingerbread” is in development. Its supposed to feature a much needed UI revamp, and 1280 x 760 resolution support for devices with a screen bigger than 4 inches. Gingerbread will require a 3.5-inch display, a 1GHz processor, and 512MB of RAM, so Froyo will stay put on older devices…

Hulu has eluded the iPad and the iPhone for a while now… but no more. After today’s announcement of Hulu Plus all of us who own Apple devices of all sorts can finally enjoy the pleasure of television gold wherever we may be on whatever device we may be using.

Yahoo Creates Style Guide for the Internet »
For god sakes, its Email not “E-mail” - and Yahoo has finally gotten it. Since Yahoo is the homepage for most “not so tech savvy” people (like my Mom), they have decided to put together a how-to guide for web content. Yahoo’s guide offers lots of practical advice for writing for the web, and I wonder why this didn’t happen sooner…
