Apple Fixes the iPhone 4 Signal Bars
Apple Fixes the iPhone 4 Signal Bars
Well… ok, not quite.
This is actually Mark Milian’s hilarious rendition of what the iPhone 4’s signal bars will look like after Apple is done fixing them - as they claim they will do in their iOS 4.0.1 update. Apparently ever since the iPhone has existed, Apple has been displaying the bars wrong, and most of the time they are much higher than your actual signal…
HTC Vision Leaked with Android, QWERTY Slider
With the recent introduction of the myTouch 3G Slide, it seemed like high-end Android slider from HTC would never exist. The phone you see in the image is claimed to have a 3.7-inch display, 1GHz processor, and Android 2.1 with Sense, or some other crazy HTC skin. We think this may be the rumored HTC Vision but we’ve seen many HTC prototypes with keyboards that never made it into production.

In this strange experiment, someone tries to extend the Nexus One’s battery life by turning off “unnecessary sub-pixel LEDs.” As it turns out, a completely red screen uses 42% less power compared to a full color screen. As one wise commenter points out, a simpler way to save battery life without harming your eyes would be to turn off the screen completely.
$1 DIY Bumpers for iPhone 4
Having iPhone 4 antenna woes? Think Apple’s $29 Bumper cases are too expensive? I hope you still have your yellow wristband from a couple of years ago (you know, that popular one associated with that biker dude). Apparently, these are perfect fixes for recent iPhone 4 issues. The iPhone Guru suggests that you make a 1.125″ by .125” slit at the bottom for dock access and to insure the speaker and microphone work properly.
What to do when your iTunes account is hacked
Ever since Apple’s app store and iTunes as a whole was hacked Sunday afternoon, people have gotten antsy about protecting their accounts from being hijacked, and forced to purchase apps - among other malicious activities. In this case, people were having their accounts hijacked by a rouge developer by the name of Thuat Nguyen, and force their accounts to randomly purchase that developer’s apps - thus bringing them to the top of the charts. Want to avoid this? We figured you would…
Apple's App store has been hacked
Two iPhone App developers have spotted the first hacking of Apple’s app store by a rogue developer. The top charts in the “books” category of the US iTunes store features 40 out of 50 apps by the same nasty app developer, Thuat Nguyen. What is more shocking is that actual people are reporting that their personal iTunes accounts have been hacked to make random purchases of that single developer’s apps…
