Velocity Micro's Android Tablet Family Announced, Starting $150

If you’ve been following the whole cheap Android tablet thing since CES, you’ll probably remember a slate that came out of nowhere unexpected: the Cruz Tablet. Well now there’s an official press release and it turns out that “Cruz” is actually the name of their whole Android tablet lineup. This lineup, starting at a price of $149, seems very promising so let’s take a closer look with a hands-on video and spec sheet.

Infographic - Microsoft and the Current State of Cloud Computing

Ever since Google became big man on campus, Microsoft has been ignoring the attention of online cloud users who naturally flocked over to services like Google Docs, Gmail and Calendar. Recently, Microsoft has made major pushes towards becoming a more “cloud friendly” company, but (unfortunately) their main focus is still the enterprise market. They have (very) recently started to claw their way into the consumer cloud, and managed to gain steam in what seems to be the fastest growing market today. Google is still on top, but Microsoft appears to be building a solid foundation and is now trying to keep their heads in the clouds and their eyes on the prize.

Musicians actually make $24 for every $1000 of Music Sold

Well, this is really depressing and eye opening in terms of counteracting every claim that was made saying “Musicians are loosing money due to piracy” — What money are they talking about? If the industry claims that the artists are loosing money, than what’s happening to the industries money? My guess is not much, considering if anything was actually happening to it, it wouldn’t be noticeable.

Looks like the Old Spice crew has put together a get well “commercial” for Kevin Rose which is completely amazing. I can now confirm that Kevin has officially reached celebrity status — Mind = Blown.
