Why "premium" HDMI cables are a scam and make no sense

If you had a few extra pennies, chances are you bought a new HDTV and noticed the overly priced HDMI cables that are littered through out the store. Even when I had my HDTV delivered, the delivery man tried to tell me that the cables I got from my cable company (which were free) weren’t good enough and he himself paid $200 for top of the line cables. This is a little tidbit of surprising news from the business world — apparently, Apple is making deep strides into the business market, and until now PC’s have been the titans of the enterprise world. If you take a minute, and look into the offices of such companies as Twitter, Facebook, Squarespace, Google etc. — you’ll see that every one of their employees is using a Mac. These days, it’s just the hip thing for tech companies to do — and right now, tech companies are king of consumer enterprise.
