HTC announces the Desire Z: a T-Mobile G2 for the rest of the world

The Desire Z is official, and much like the T-Mobile G2, the Desire Z features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard with user configurable keys. Around the back of the device you’ve got a five megapixel camera with flash, an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 processor, HSPA+ compatibility, and 802.11n WiFi. Unlike its American counterpart, the Desire Z, runs HTC’s custom Sense UI. It’s currently due to hit major European and Asian carriers in October.

Creepy Google Engineer Stalked Teens and Spied on Chats

Creepy Google Engineer Stalked Teens and Spied on Chats

David Barksdale — A 27 year old Google employee was fired today after getting caught spying, stalking and tracking teens. The really scary part is he was a member of an elite group at Google, capable of viewing the emails of anyone “in order to determine the cause of a technical issue with Gmail”.

This dolt had a history of flaunting his power to his friends, and treating his job at Google like a game. He called himself a “hacker”, and didn’t flinch at spying on our data and chats. Google — you got some s’plainin to do!

Internet Explorer 9 Reviewed and Tested

Internet Explorer has been a pain — and by “pain” I mean the non-stop crashes, mounds of toolbars, lack of compatibility and overall suckishness. The first thing we do to any computer that we get is load up Internet Explorer, and download a new browser — very first thing. Now, we have to look forward and wonder if we’ll need to do this again…
