The HTC Vision / T-Mobile G2 finally gets an official specs sheet

We’ve seen the rumours, and speculated the G2’s specifications to within a degree of certainty, but now that HTC’s thrown the device up on their website, we can say there’s something calming about knowing the device’s final specs. As rumoured, the handset is powered by an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230, it’ll run Android 2.2, have 4GB of ROM, 512MB of RAM, a 3.7-inch WVGA display, a five megapixel camera (with flash and autofocus). The new Twitter is coming, in a few hours

This is going to be an eventful night, and a crazy week. Twitter is rolling out one of the largest updates ever seen in a social network — using the same methods as the Twitter iPad app, they will allow you to view a conversation by clicking on a tweet, and use it as a threaded conversation. They are also planning to implement multimedia inside the stream, with media partnerships with 16 companies.

Their also rolling out an entirely new look, along with a better user interface, again, using the slide out, card thingies like the iPad app has. We don’t know the effects this will have on Apps and 3rd party applications, yet, but we’re expecting to see large growth in users enjoying just the Twitter website, since there won’t be such a demanding need for 3rd party apps and websites — Check it out!
