Ban Hammer locked and loaded for StarCraft 2 Cheaters »
“Blizzard Entertainment has always taken cheating in any form in Blizzard games very seriously, and that’s no different for StarCraft II. If a StarCraft II player is found to be cheating or using hacks or modifications in any form, then as outlined in our end user license agreement, that player can be permanently banned from the game…” — Blizzard
The Handy Youtube Flowchart actually works!
First off, the sad part about this is it’s going to to be outdated next week — but that aside, this handy chart is actually useful (believe it or not). I found the chart last night, and was surprised to find myself exploring the different paths, and actually enjoying the stuff I found. There are also some hilarious dead-ends and questions that will get a chuckle out of you, but overall this is a surprisingly useful little chart!
SublimeVideo HTML5 video player breaks ground - Launches Beta
If you’re on the up n’ up of what’s going on in the world of HTML5 and Flash, you already know that Flash is now “old school” (in the minds of designers and creatives alike) and HTML5 is the new hotness. HTML5 allows video to playback without a flash layer, so you can skim through the video smoothly (without all the skipping and buffering), and it plays in it’s true form. Also, there are no 3rd party plugins required (on the user’s end), and there’s no strain on the users computer.

Motorola Defy hitting US Shores on T-Mobile "in time for the holidays"
Motorola’s been churning out handsets left, right and, center lately; so it’s not at all surprising to learn that the Motorola Defy (which was originally rumoured to only hit European shores before Christmas) is coming to T-Mobile “in time for the holidays.” The specs don’t have that major wow factor like oh, say the Droid X, but nevertheless its got a 3.7-inch WVGA display with a scratch-resistant touch panel, Android 2.1, the ability to withstand dust and water

Most common words in 1-star and 5-star App reviews »
This really took me by surprise - not just because this is a weird thing to get statistic about, but also because it makes sense… surprisingly. All the words I see in this list, I see almost repeatedly in the App store reviews, and it’s interesting to see the contrast of vocabulary between one star and five star reviews. Must see!
