The Handy Youtube Flowchart actually works!

First off, the sad part about this is it’s going to to be outdated next week — but that aside, this handy chart is actually useful (believe it or not). I found the chart last night, and was surprised to find myself exploring the different paths, and actually enjoying the stuff I found. There are also some hilarious dead-ends and questions that will get a chuckle out of you, but overall this is a surprisingly useful little chart!

If you’re on the up n’ up of what’s going on in the world of HTML5 and Flash, you already know that Flash is now “old school” (in the minds of designers and creatives alike) and HTML5 is the new hotness. HTML5 allows video to playback without a flash layer, so you can skim through the video smoothly (without all the skipping and buffering), and it plays in it’s true form. Also, there are no 3rd party plugins required (on the user’s end), and there’s no strain on the users computer.

Motorola Defy hitting US Shores on T-Mobile "in time for the holidays"
