"Beyond Black Mesa" - Half Life 2 Indie Film is fantastic, jaw-dropping

Wow, just wow! Beyond Black Mesa is an independent film in the Half Life universe made over the course of two years with a budget of only around $1,200, but that doesn’t stop it from being absolutely fantastic! Clocking in at around 11 minutes, the video stars Adrian Shepard from Half Life: Opposing Force and features great action scenes, terrific music and, of course, Ravenholm. What’s not to love?

Convert AVI to MP4 - get movies to your iPad with this bare bones application

Getting movies you’ve “acquired” on your hard drive to your shiny iThing isn’t always as easy as people say it is. There was only enough room for 4.3 billion addresses, but the “experiment” wasn’t expected to last long — he was very wrong, and he hates himself for it. — More after the break!

The HP Palm WebOS Tablets - What We Know and Why We Care

Rumors of a WebOS slate from Palm have come a long way, and it seems that they may become a reality quite soon - as soon as March, in fact! Now let’s take a second to run down what we know so far of the HP Palm tablets (yes, we said tablets); the Opal and the Topaz. — More after the break!
