On the surface, a game that involves playing exclusively as a Russian Doll does not sound very appetizing. But with the creative minds of Double Fine behind the project, which as a reminder to you are the same people who brought us Costume Quest, it promises to be a puzzle game full of intrigue and wonderment. When I first saw this thing, all I could think was “The Onion” because this is classic fake news right?. Well, after reading about the MYT (Massive Yet Tiny) engine, my mind was blown multiple times. Why the MYT engine hasn’t been covered by other news sites confuses me, so lets take a look at this masterpiece…
Before it’s release, someone got a hands on with the HTC Flyer at MWC 2011 and it looks pretty epic. The addition of a stylus seems a bit out of place, considering every other tablet is following in Apple’s direction, but overall the stylus does add a fair bit of neat functionality to the device. Will you put down the cash for an HTC Flyer?
Every year Microsoft’s Chief Research and Strategy Officer, Craig Mundle, gathers a few forward thinking Microsoft executives in order to strategize future development prospects. This year, that meeting focused heavily on Kinect integration. We’ve already seen future plans for the Kinect, most recently at last week’s Mobile World Congress; however whilst the company talked about mobile integration of the peripheral, it has now become apparent that Kinect hardware will mature on the desktop. That’s right, there’s plans to bring a Kinect SDK to Windows.
I have had my Macbook for about 8 months, and it has been great, I would never give it up — but the date is coming when I need to decide… do I need the new hotness? I mean, of course the new Macbooks are going to be the only thing people talk about for weeks, and it’s all I’ll hear about — but do I really need another laptop?
Who would have thought we’d get a review of the iPad 2 case before the actual device is released? Clearly, there is a hole for a rear facing camera and that the case overall is designed for a smaller device. Mostl likely not for a smaller screen size, but for a smallr bezel.
Now, I created the concept above because Google only supplied sketches and I wanted to show what it would actually look like — now on to the meat of this story. When you look at Google Chrome out of the box, it really is a compact interface. Not much going on besides a URL bar, a few buttons and the standard close and minimize buttons — But Google could be planning to kill the URL bar.
