Cortex makes sharing links and tweets as easy as holding down your mouse

So you find yourself browsing through the internet as per your usual time when suddenly something strikes a chord with you. It’s something you MUST share, and so you break out a new tab and type the URL’s to either Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, or any other number of services you use to communicate your new discovery with your friends or the world. OmmWriter for PC is word processing without distraction

We briefly introduced you to OmmWriter the last we spoke about it, however since then it’s been released for PC, giving us more incentive to share it with everyone in attendance here today. So what is OmmWriter? Well, to put it simple, it’s not Microsoft Word, it’s not OpenWriter, and it’s probably nothing like any other application you’ve run into before. It does away with distractions and seals you into a zone where writing can flow, y’know the way it’s supposed to. — More after the break.

MetroTwit is the first Windows Twitter client that matters

For years, there has never been an amazing Twitter app for Windows. Unfortunately, Twitter still only offers official applications for Mac, iOS and Android, so it’s been up to 3rd party developers to create great experiences on Windows, and it hasn’t been pretty — one word, “AdobeAir”.

Itsy Mac app for Twitter is simplicity at its finest

After weeks of using the official Twitter app for Mac, it occoured to me that I was spending way too much time messing around in the App, rather than actually tweeting. I was flipping through useless searches, and droning through trending topics like I had no other reason to exsist — and even though the Twitter app for Mac is fantastic (probably still the best), I wanted something more… or in this case, less.
