Google Music Beta streams your entire music collection online

It was only a matter of time until someone finally decided to step up to Apple and its iTunes platform. During Google’s I/O conference, the search giant announced a new service dubbed Music Beta that won’t specifically be an iTunes clone, meaning it won’t offer an online music store, but it would rather be a dedicated music player that will cross over multiple computers, browsers, and Android devices, and stream your already existing music collection over the cloud. How massively gigantic is Google exactly?

When you think of it, we really couldn’t live without Google. They made web searching useful, they created a video sharing site that gobbles 24 hours of video every minute (4 years worth of video every day) and they have a slew of different services that make online life possible. Big mistake turning down a job at Google... in 1998

Every once and a while, Reddit manages to coax a rare, special piece of internet history, into the public eye. Google's social "+1" coming to sites and search results near you

Why beat Facebook when you can straight out copy them? Google is looking to drive past their last social failure, Google Buzz, and move forward with “+1”, pronounced “plus one”. The new feature is exactly like the Digg and Facebook like button — just one more social button you’ll ignore as you browse the internet at night.
