While there weren’t any Olympic runners hurling objects at a mind-numbing speech done by Steve Jobs, Motorola was able to capture a little bit of the charm that made Apple’s “1984” Super Bowl ad such a hit it originall was.
Artsy? Yes. Message taken? Absolutely. Will people get it? Probably not.

Getting movies you’ve “acquired” on your hard drive to your shiny iThing isn’t always as easy as people say it is. Sure, there are tons of applications out there that can do the job, but which of them are hassle free and are virtually idiot proof? Not many, but we did find one that caught our attention, and it’s the “AVI to MP4 Converter”. Pretty straight forward name, eh? — Details after the break!

iPhone 4.3 beta gets horrendous multi-finger gestures
Apple confirmed that the multi-finger gestures seen on the iPad’s 4.3 developer’s release was only for testing purposes only, and that they wouldn’t be seen in the final release.
Well, now the intuitive controls made for the iPad have found their way onto the iPhone, and it’s not pretty on a one-handed device.

So much for all the hubbub about the next iPad losing its Home button; Apple confirms that the 5 finger multitasking gestures seen in on the iOS 4.3 developer release won’t be included when the update goes live to the public.
