Video: Bing iPhone app Review | Google vs Bing

Really? Bing on the iPhone? Well, this could be a good thing. Although Google is “the best” search engine and Google was on the iPhone first, does not mean it’s app is good - I mean, it’s okay, but the app is very bland and washed out in terms of features and performance.

Bing’s app, however, is the exact opposite. Not only is it completely badass, but dare I say, it does a better job than Google. Ricardo shows us what’s up with this new addition to the appstore, and trust us, ditch the Google app. You just got ‘Bung’!

Xbox 360 Review: Left 4 Dead 2

In another collaborative review, Nick and I dissect the in’s and out’s of what exactly makes Left 4 Dead 2 different than its predecessor. New weapons, enemies, and modes give it more than just an expansion type feel to the series - making it a true sequel to last year’s hit game. Brains, brains, brains!!

App of the Week: Words Free

This week a friend on mine led me on to a very cool app called Words. This app is basically a free version of Scrabble that you can play with anyone who has an iPhone at any time. The real win of the app is that you can chat and play at you own pase. The game could last an hour or how ever many weeks you want it to go.

Words free lets you make a move, close the app, and wait until your opponent gets a notification of his/her turn, makes a move, and get notified yourself of when you turn is up. The app is completely free and worth checking out for anyone who likes to play Scrabble with friends or unknown even if you don’t have the time to do so in one sitting. You can either search for users to play with using your contact list, or search by user name. If you don’t know anyone with the game yet, you can play a random opponent. Finally, Words With Friends also has a mode for local play if you want to play against a friend using a single device.

Either way, both games are free and supported via in-game advertising and Words With Friends has a premium version for $2.99 that you can buy if you want to support the developer and/or don’t like looking at ads. I haven’t had any problems with mine except crashing once but i get that many times even on my Facebook app. It’s a great free game and i guess it helps with you vocabulary too.

10 Best torrent sites besides Mininova

Lots of us rely on one torrent site, usually the most popular. For those of us who mainly use Mininova, its time for a change. Ever since Last August, a Dutch court ruled that Mininova had to remove all links to ‘infringing’ torrent files, with disastrous consequences.

Now the only torrents that are accepted are by those users who are "approved". Thankfully, there are still plenty of alternatives for you, check them out!

We all have seen our very our Ricardo Trejo's Google Wave Diaries over the past few weeks. I recently received my invite and i just wanted to write a little thing about it myself. For starters, even when i asked my friend's for an invite I had no clue what in the world it was but i knew since it was Google, it must be good. After watching some of Google's videos I understood the layout of the page but I was still like why in the world would i use this thing, what's the difference between this, email, and a Facebook status with comments?
