RIM's tablet to be revealed in August - called the BlackPad?

Before we continue you may want to put your sceptical caps on: According to an unnamed source RIM’s big tablet is due to be dubbed the “BlackPad” — yeah we know real original name, right? Nevertheless, according to this unnamed source RIM recently acquired the domain name BlackPad (so as far as speculative rumours go, this one sure looks to be shaping… umm, up rather nicely).

iMac Refreshes Coming Soon. Real Soon.

Many authorized resellers of Apple desktops have begun reporting that the 21.5 inch iMacs have been running clean out of stock. The main reason Apple didn’t use i3 processors on the Macbook Pro 13” was that the cost would be higher due to the fact that they would have to have both integrated and discrete graphics (Intel doesn’t allow NVIDIA integrated graphics). We’re not sure what Apple is doing differently this time but I’m willing to bet the main difference will be processor changes to the 2010 i cores or maybe even AMD? Advice from Apple to resellers is to “keep inventories lean.” With recent leaks of a so-called Magic Trackpad, it is possible that this new input device will make an appearance as an alternative to the Magic Mouse.

DROID 2 Leaked in Teaser Site Source Code? (UPDATE- In the Flesh!)

Apparently, some smart guy looking around the DROID Does source code found a Shockwave Flash file that had a couple of pictures of the upcoming DROID 2 (Motorola A955). Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the device so the looks didn’t exactly surprise. Rumors support the idea that this successor to the DROID will be launching on August 23rd and this only further support the fact. We should be seeing an official teaser on Verizon’s DROID site in only a matter of days or weeks. Continue reading for the full image!

Rumor - 4.3 inch HTC Desire HD Coming Soon

Rumor - 4.3 inch HTC Desire HD Coming Soon

4.3 inch devices seem to be the trend these days and HTC is no newbie to the game with its HD2 and EVO 4G. But now we’re hearing, by way of Engadget, that there are some rumblings about a possible Desire HD with a similarly large screen, 8 megapixel camera, and 4 GB of internal storage. The ubiquitous 1 Ghz Snapdragon is also expected to make an appearance.

Apple might be silently recalling the iPhone 4

This story was pushed out yesterday, but it has evolved into an onslaught of unconfirmed cases of Gizmodo readers receiving a new version of the iPhone 4. They claim that they are unable to reproduce the reception issue, and that there are physical differences between the “old” and “new” models.
