Rumor - Nintendo and Sony negotiating for 3G tech in 3DS and PSP2

We heard about this story before from Nintendo’s own President, Satoru Iwata when he mentioned in passing that the next iteration of the DS might have built in 3G capabilities for enhanced features on the go. Well, if

Rumor - Playstation Plus Required for Hulu on PS3

Reports are flying in that a Playstation Plus subscription is required to use Hulu on the PS3. After doing some detective work on the Hulu Plus site Technolizer found some hidden text in the source code that mentions that a PS Plus is necessary for PS3 user’s to access Hulu. More after the break.

iOS 4 is coming to the Mac? - Rumors, Go!

We knew this “scoop” would create itself somehow, so here we go - Apparently, Apple is going to be having a “Special Event”, where they are going to introduce Macs running iOS 4. The rumor was scooped up my LOOPRumors who apparently got a “tidbit” of information by someone (they did not mention if it was even a human being) that “The iMac should be equipped with both Mac OS X and a touch interface for iOS.” - more info after the break…

Rumor - PS3 Price Reducing to $199

We heard earlier reports that Sony’s 3D-Compatible Products page was showing the PS3’s starting price at $199 instead of its current $299 price tag. Could this have been an accidental timed update or just a mere typo? At the moment we’re not sure, but it’s been corrected since then. However, a reduced price tag does fall in line with what analysts have been talking about for the past couple months, especially with previous talks of Microsoft releasing a Slim Xbox 360 to coincide with the launch of Project Natal. Could Sony be doing the exact same thing with the Playstation Move so they don’t get outplayed? Well, we won’t have to wait that long to find out with E3 literally just around the corner.

'Fake' PS4 Viral Video

You may have heard, or even seen, the PS4 viral video that’s been making the rounds. And let me tell you, there wasn’t another person there who didn’t want to talk about it more than I. Not because I wanted to drop down a grand to buy a PS4, but because I just wanted something new and crazy to speculate about.

However, it looks like I won’t get the chance now that GameInformer has confirmed with Sony that these videos are hoaxes:

“I can confirm that this video is not from SCE [Sony Computer Entertainment],” - Sony

Rumor - Namco and Capcom making Street Fighter vs. Tekken game

Rumor - Namco and Capcom making Street Fighter vs. Tekken game

Back in 2005 I heard of Namco X Capcom, and I was psyched. Little did I know at the time, however, that it wasn’t a fighter as I had originally expected. And my interest completely diminished when I discovered it was an RTS

Well, now we’re hearing rumors that both Namco and Capcom are collaborating again, but this time to give us the proper Street Fighter vs. Tekken game we first dreamt of.

Personally, I’m quite interested to find out how well a 3D fighter matches up with a 2D fighter. Looks like we’ll find out at E3 if this is going to happen or not, but it may feel a bit crowded with the playable demo of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 - Read it HERE

Rumor - Dead Space: Extraction coming to XBLA and PSN

Rumor - Dead Space: Extraction coming to XBLA and PSN

Dead Space was my pick for Game of the Year back in ‘08, but I never got a chance to try out the Wii exclusive on rails prequel, Dead Space: Extraction that released earlier last year.

Well, if a recent rumor is to be trusted, EA will be porting over the once Wii-only title to Xbox Live and the Playstation Network, incorporating Natal and Move support, as well as putting it up for a highly affordable $14.99 price tag - Find Out MORE
